We loved Spain so much, we thought we would see more of the Iberian Peninsula – Portugal. This was another tour group venture. A 10-day trip. We started in Lisbon, visited Cabo da Roca (the westernmost point of continental Europe), enjoyed Fado music, headed north to Obidos and Alcobaca Monastery. A day at the University of Coimbra then to the salt pans at Figueira da Foz and Montemor o Velho. The final days were spent in the Duora Valley (lots of wine) and Old Porto.
